Show Stopping Spring Style

Spring 2016 sees the launch of new fabric and wall covering collections from all the top design houses, and this year doesn't fail to impress.  From Jane Churchill to Osborne and Little, the array of inspiring and fresh designs have us deliberating just which to choose.  The design possibilities are endless, with themes firmly fixed on floral and animal prints, a design staple of Springtime, and the countryside bursting into life once again.

Designers Guild - Couture Rose Fabrics

Unashamedly floral and exquisitely drawn and coloured, the Designers Guild  prints this spring flow directly from nature and from classical botanical paintings, interpreted in the signature Designers Guild way. Beautiful renditions of roses, lilies, orchids, irises or poppies grow in abundance and are printed on a variety of cottons and linens with a freshness and clarity of colour.  For information and stockists visit

Harlequin - Fauvisimo collection

Fauvisimo is a stunning collection of fabrics from Harlequin,  featuring British birds, flowers and landscapes, which are stunning in their spontaneous, liberated interpretation of the beauty and intensity of colour found in nature. The layering of rich, contrasting tones develops warmth and energy against the cooler backdrop of natural cloth. The powerful colour palette ranges from cobalt blues and deep magentas to moody greys, sultry black and on-trend mustards, and includes softer highlights of muted greens, blush pinks and honey shades. Including embroideries, jacquards, weaves and prints, Fauvisimo’s refreshing fabrics, with their strong emphasis on colour, will add ebullience and character to any interior scheme.  For information and stockists visit

Osborne and Little - Fantasque Collection

The Fantasque Collection from Osborne and Little features abstract and exotic prints, weaves and wallpapers which pay tribute to the artistic and cultural movements of the early 20th century. The mood of the collection is reflected in FANTASQUE which hosts a sleek panther amongst extravagant foliage, CHRYSLER featuring stylised Art Deco leaves and ASTORIA, a dramatic chevron wallpaper. Colourful geometric designs include CUBISTE, a striking composition of diagonal rectangular blocks, and BAKST, a painterly brushwork check. This season the O&L palette features ultramarine, turquoise, magenta, chartreuse and burnt orange interspersed with quieter tones such as terracotta, stone, taupe and silver.  For information and stockists visit
